Writing Blogs on Mauritius

Mauritius is an island nation located just off the African mainland in the Indian Ocean. The official language of Mauritius is English so most people writing blogs on Mauritius will potentially be writing in the English language, although French is also used. With two internet providers on Mauritius and more than 200,000 internet users in the republic, there are likely several blogs written daily from that area by locals and natives who hold a wealth of information about the region.
On the other hand, those looking to read up on Mauritius can find blogs that contain information about Mauritius plentifully.

Many people are currently writing blogs on Mauritius that provide internet users with vast information regarding the area including the landscape, travel accommodations and other information that may be needed prior to visiting. While English is the official language of Mauritius, Mauritian Creole is the most widely spoken language in the country. This language has very close ties with French pronunciation with just a few marked differences. Mauritian Creole, for instance, does not contain many of the deeply rounded consonants that the French language has. It is considered currently to be the native tongue of Mauritius. While many blogs written by native Mauritian dwellers may be in English there may be notable differences in this language and the English language that many are used to seeing. The French language dominates much of the media on Mauritius so it is a fair chance that many blogs written from that region may actually be in French. Movies and television programs that are English in origination are typically dubbed into the French language. Many of the blogs that are written on Mauritius are also dubbed and given the French way of speaking.
There are several Mauritius blogs that outline the history of this region and give travel information for those looking to visit. Information may include the many sites of interest as well as general information about the outlying areas of Madagascar and other regions.

With blogs that contain information about travel, interested parties can locate hotels, check availability and gain vast knowledge about several other places such as restaurants and shopping facilities. Users can also find information about specific events that may be taking place and regional as well as local festivals and celebrations. For those who are looking to visit Mauritius, a blog from someone who is located in that area is an excellent source of information.  Another interesting location for writing blogs is the seychelles (Seychellen).
