Lawyers, blogs and internet recht
A web log is a form of on line diary. It is the part of a web site where someone says what they want about certain issue, products, or ideas. The Internet has millions of blogs being posted to every day. Even lawyers are starting to become addicted to the idea. Lawyers, blogs, and the Internet are three words I never thought would be said in the same sentence. Yet here we are discussing what a lawyer can do with a blog on the Internet.
There was a time when a lawyer who wanted to get published would write an article for a law review. Those days are fast becoming behind the times. Now the lawyer only has to open his web browser. In minutes he can be writing about new laws facing America, old laws getting ready to change, or new cases which are changing old laws and incorporating new ones. The lawyer can review information clients could find useful about taxes, personal injury, or social security benefits. He can make it as personal or as public as he wants.
The lawyers who have blogs on the Internet are fast becoming the more popular ones. They are building a reputation as being caring and honest. They are building a rapport with the public. Lawyers are changing the way the public views them. There was a time when jokes abounded about lawyers not being in heaven, or no skid marks in front of a lawyer, and other things. The people who were joking are now looking at lawyers in a different light. This is, in part, because of their blogs or in some circles, blawgs.
The lawyer has become part of the common public. Still held in high regard when his services are needed, but welcome more and more into the inner circles of the American public. There are web logs being written by young lawyers who are dedicated to helping the on line entrepreneur. These blogs are informative and up to date. The information can be critical to someone who is just starting out with an on line business. With the help of attorneys like Mike Young, many new entrepreneurs can know what is allowed and accepted and what is not going to fly.
Some are cautioning lawyers (veröffentlichungen) about what to say in their blogs. The Internet is available to anyone who can click a mouse. This means there are potential jurors and clients, as well as defendants who read what is written and take it to heart. A case can be swayed by a juror who read a blog by the prosecuting attorney. The juror may not have liked what the lawyer said about people leaving dogs in the car while shopping. The juror shares this knowledge with someone else and the next thing you know the entire jury is hung because someone hates dogs. If you think this is extreme, look at the society we live in and think again. American Airlines was sued for 28 seconds of turbulence and had to pay the passengers 2.2 million dollars. With the ability lawyers have to blog on the Internet, you can now see what is really going on in our society
