Blogging has taken over the world. The number of blogs worldwide has grown increasingly in the last year or two. Thousands of people are being added to the world of blogging on a regular basis. Blogging is basically like an open diary. It is your space and you get to choose what to fill your space with it. You can write all you want about your day gone by or anything else you want to.

In order to blog all you need is the internet, it doesn’t matter which part of the world you live in! Blogging is for everyone and anyone who has net access. Since all you require is the internet, there are trillions of people all over who are blogging. People even blog during vacations. So even if you are out sailing in Mallorca, it is common for people to blog. Everybody does it and it is the latest fad.

It is great to blog when you are holidaying. It is a great way of informing your friends and family that you are safe and well. You can also have them read all you have been up to and all the fun you are having. Blogs are great ways of communicating with loved ones who are far off. Especially when you are on a sailing expedition in some far off land or an island like Mallorca, blogging will really help people who care about you to know that you are doing safe and they wont have to be worried sick about whether you have reached your destination safely or if the winds blew you off coast or if your having yacht sailing trouble etc.

So for those of you who don’t own blogs or have one yet, you may want to consider creating one. Think of all the advantages blogs offer you. Once you have a blog, all you got to do is update it, no need to send out mails, give your blog id to all your friends and they can have a look never they care to know what is happening with you. When your away from home on holidays blogs allow you a tension free holiday, all you have to do is write a line or two on your blog about being safe and you will know that you don’t need to make those calls to mom and dad telling them your doing perfectly well on this side of the globe.
