The World Of The Blogosphere

Have you entered the blogosphere?  Do you know what it is?  You’ve probably used it more times than you can count.  You just didn’t know what it was called.  A blogosphere is a bunch of blogs that are connected to each other on the world wide web.  It started out as a joke, but the term continued to float around for some time.  It defines the social nature that derived from different sites. 

You can find a lot in this special place.  Most importantly, you can find people who are not necessarily professional writers.  Even though they are not professional writers, they still sit down and put their thoughts on the web. 

Some of the topics are about their personal lives, other topics can include sports, entertainment, animals or whatever their little hearts desire.  Some people will be interested, others won’t.   

When you start searching in this place, you will find many other topics that may or may not be to your liking.  There are a lot of people who have political blogs and are very opinionated, either to the left or the right. 

There are the animal lovers who will stomp all over you if you say something bad against animals.  There are the computer geeks who know just about everything there is to know about computers and the like.  You can’t forget about the sports fanatics, oh yes, those guys.  The bloggers and their readers can have some knock-down, drag out spars. 

This special place can also be used for different discussions and to air out grievances.  There are even some media groups that use it to get opinions from the outside.  It can also be used to pick out certain bloggers that evolve in this place.

You can also find out more information about the blogosphere through other means.  Technorati is one of the search engines that loves the blogosphere.  It’s good because it can help you with your search via blogs. 

Technorati is capable of finding millions of sites and an enormous amount of links.  It’s so many that you can’t keep count.  Other blog search engines are capable of finding blogs with a variety of topics.  Once you enter your search keyword, you can find just about whatever you’re looking for.  Some of the other search engine sites include Blog Pulse, Tailrank and BlogScope. 

The great thing about these sites is that they’re so advanced.  Links can be used to keep track of what’s being said on the blog sites.  Just think, a search engine being able to track down whatever you’re saying.  Don’t let it be something controversial like politics or abortion.  Boy, people really wouldn’t stop talking. 

Controversy sells and it is an attractor.  People like to get in on one side of the debate and have their say.  There are more sites now that attract comments from both sides of the fence.  Sometimes the comments can become personal attacks in the heat of the moment.     

Even though the blogosphere term is not synonymous with a lot of people these days, rest assured the concept will be around for many years to come.
