How To Create A Blog With Blogger

Nowadays, more and more people area creating blogs like never before.  They want to share their innermost thoughts and opinions.  They can also be used for political opinions, entertainment news or hobbies.  Professional bloggers use them to current and up to date news reports or travels while on assignment. 

One of the easiest blog software platforms available today is Blogger.  Blogger is one of the most easiest, if not the easiest types of software to use to create a blog.  It’s so easier to navigate and it’s user friendly.  There are different components you can utilize to make your blog the way you want it. 

Blogger Comments allow you to let people make comments regarding your posts.  Comments can be posted by going to the Comments Posting page and then click “Post a Comment”.  After the comment has been written, then click “Publish Your Comments”.  The good thing about this is that you can choose which comments you don’t want displayed on your site. 

In the Access Controls section, you are in control as to who can read and post to your blog.  For small groups, you can create a group blog as a means of providing information.  You can also have a private section where you have a journal of information that is only seen and known by you.  Or if you’re feeling generous, you can share with your readers.

The Profile Section allows you to search for other people with sites that are in sync with your thoughts.  

Even though Blogger doesn’t have a wide selection of templates, what they do have will make your site look nice.  The good thing about this is you don’t have to be proficient in HTML.  There is an HTML based section on their site. 

Just pick the one you want, download and upload to your site.  If you’re looking for something other than what they have, there are outside sites that offer free templates that you can use.

After selecting your template, you will be taken to the color and font section when you can make changes and designs to reflect your style. 

The drag and drop feature allows you to place your posts where you want them.  It also allows you to move your profiles and other related items.  You can also place photos on the site by going to the Blogger Images section. 

There will be a photo icon and you are to click on that.  You will have a choice of selecting a photo (or photos) from your computer or from the internet.  You can also set it to how you want it placed (left, center and right).  It will also ask you if you want to use the same layout placement each time.  This, of course, is up to you.

There are additional features that you may or may not use, but these listed here are the standard ones used to create a blog in Blogger.  Just think, within no time at all, you’ll have a site you can call your own.
